We are glad that you are interested in participating in this year’s fashion show. Plus Size POWER is a not for profit organization and there is no charge to participate in our fashion show. All of our models are volunteers, there is no monetary compensation; however the rewards of self-esteem building, exposure, training, experience and lifelong friends made, are “priceless”.
We will once again have “out of town” plus size models. Each “out of town” model will represent their city/state, have their very own personal “Avenue” Exclusive Runway Full-Figured Feature. Out of town guest/members/models must pay for your own travel expenses. See hotel special group rate below.
The fashion show is one of our major fundraiser to help keep the membership club going without having to raise the cost of our membership dues and to help fund the expenses of printing the mini-zine, website and other expenses.
Models must be female, ages 13 and older (under 18 must get parent’s permission), size 14 and up. To keep the lines of communication open for the updated informaition posted, **All models should have a facebook page or should be willing to set one up**.
All models must buy or sell four (4) fashion show tickets and a model support ad program ad. Sell five (5) tickets and received a ticket free. Sell 10 tickets and two (2) tickets free...and so on. Presale Tickets are $25.00 for adults and children 10 and older and $30.00 at the door. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m.
All Models should submit a headshot at the time of online registration ...please note if you will mail in the picture.
Talent Night (Saturday, September 1, 2012 @ 4:00p.m.) – "Open to The Public" Tickets for non performing models are $10.00
Shades of Pink Banquet (Saturday, September 1, 2012 @ 7:00p.m. – "Open to The Public" Tickets are $40.00
