Queen Eboni's Biography
Miss Eboni Murrell is a Plus Size P.O.W.E.R. Teen Member and Miss Teen Spirit Plus 2005 Queen. She is 14 years old and is in the 9th grade. She plays the violin, piano and is on a community volleyball team. Some of Eboni’s accomplishments include: completing a three year Pre-Engineer Program at the University of Texas in San Antonio. She was selected for the Duke University Talent Identification Program. She is a member of Top Teens of America, as well as, the National Junior Honor Society. Eboni’s plus size role model is Queen Latifah because she “intelligent and beautiful”. “She shows high self-esteem and confidence in her size”, Eboni explains. Her future career goal is to be a Pediatrician. Her alternative career goal choices are an Architectural Engineer or an Environmental Lawyer. Queen Eboni says, “running for Miss Teen Spirit Plus 2005 is not only a honor, but a great experience for me. I not only want to say that I was Miss Teen Spirit Plus 2005, but that I won with pride and dignity being a plus size teenager. In my heart, I feel you don’t have to be a size two or zero to be beautiful; being beautiful is WITHIN and comes in all shapes and sizes. Miss Teen Spirit Plus is not just a title you stick on someone; it is like a new addition to your name. In my opinion, winning the title is like becoming the president of all beautiful, big and intelligent young ladies.
